Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: 27 May 2026

This policy sets the minimum standard for using MAILHAUS responsibly during the waitlist-first and open beta launch.

Allowed use

You may use MAILHAUS to organise lawful business contacts, create campaign drafts, manage replies, track CRM activity, build templates, and prepare outreach workflows.

You may use AI tools to draft or improve content, provided a human reviews the output before use.

Prohibited use

Do not use MAILHAUS for illegal activity, harassment, discrimination, impersonation, phishing, malware, scraping without permission, privacy violations, or spam.

Do not attempt to bypass safety gates, access another workspace, abuse public endpoints, reverse engineer credentials, or expose secrets.

Sensitive data

Do not upload payment card numbers, passwords, government identifiers, medical records, or other highly sensitive data unless a future version explicitly supports and protects that use case.

Keep imported lead data limited to the information needed for legitimate business outreach and CRM follow-up.

Enforcement

Access may be limited, suspended, or removed if a workspace creates security, compliance, deliverability, abuse, or operational risk.

Admin/support access should be logged and used only for support, security, account management, and launch operations.
